<br /> <br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.5 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent March 19, 2018 Jessica Miller, Executive Secretary/Deputy City <br />Clerk <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Premises Permit for the Elk River Youth Hockey Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Association <br />Reviewed by <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Adopt, by motion, a resolution rescinding resolution 17-63 and adopting a new resolution approving a <br />premises permit for Elk River Hockey Association. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Elk River Youth Hockey submitted a request to conduct gambling at Buffalo Wild Wings, 778 Freeport <br />Street NW. Before the Minnesota Gambling Control Board can issue a premises permit, the local unit of <br />government where the premises is located must give approval by resolution. The approval must be within <br />90 days of the date the application is received by the Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The City Council adopted resolution 17-63 in November approving Elk River Youth Hockey <br />Association’s request for a premises permit at Buffalo Wild Wings.
