In February,the crew rented <br /> a forestry mower to complete the removal of invasive species from the understory of the remaining 26 <br /> acres in Section 2. The crew is continuing to remove the hazardous and diseased trees throughout <br /> Section 2;however continuous snowfalls have slowed down the process. <br /> Park Improvement Fund <br /> • Hillside City Park Trail Reconstruction—The request for quotes documents are currently being <br /> advertised for the trail reconstruction in Sections 1 and 2 of Hillside City Park. All bids must be <br /> received by Friday March 31, 2018. <br /> • Deerfield Hill Park—Staff is currently working with vendors on the design of the new <br /> playground for Deerfield Hill Park. Finalized designs are expected in April with construction <br /> this summer. <br /> • Oak Knoll Athletic Field Lighting and Scoreboard—City Council approved the contract with <br /> Musco Lighting at the March 5, 2018 City Council Meeting.
