Councilmember wPargaarr9 introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Oty of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 18- 13 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $500 total donation from Cargill with the <br />intent it be used by Parks and Recreation Department for the purchase of trees for the <br />Youth Athletic Complex. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Cargill for their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />9=sen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Diptz., DicerCounrilmemhPrp nl p, W Rtgaardy ffi7p I d Wage <br />and the following against: None whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, <br />Westsaard, Ovall, and Wagner <br />and the following absent: None <br />Passed and adopted this 5h day of March 2018. <br />J n J. ietz, Ma r <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />ro1fAE1 er <br />NATURI� <br />
