The <br />proposed definitions were drafted utilizing the American Planning Association Planners Dictionary. This <br />is a document that has multiple definitions for various planning terms from governing agencies across the <br />county. <br /> <br />Definitions that have been struck may be: <br /> Removed entirely as the term no longer appears in Chapter 30. <br /> Located elsewhere in the list for consistency and clarity with similar uses. For example, Area <br />identification sign was moved to Sign, area identification. <br /> Combined with other like definitions. For example, Government buildings and facilities and Government <br />offices were combined into Government facility. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission is asked to review all of the definitions, existing and proposed, for clarity and <br />understandability. <br /> <br />Not all listed uses have a definition, as staff thought some are self-explanatory.
