Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br /> TO: FROM: <br /> ERMU Commission Mark Fuchs—Electric Superintendent <br /> MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br /> December 12, 2017 6.1c <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Staff Update <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> None <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> • Had 18 new house services. <br /> • Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time <br /> permits. <br /> • Continue working in Connexus acquisition Areas 3&4. <br /> • Continue installing the infrastructure in Areas 5&6 heading north of the Waco substation. <br /> These two areas will be acquired in 2018. These areas will require more work because <br /> Connexus is keeping their feeder in these areas. <br /> • Finished changing out a pole and building the underground riser at Chippewa Innovation. <br /> • We extended the underground primary and moved the three phase transformer at Barton's <br /> gravel pit. <br /> • We changed out the three phase overhead transformer bank with a three phase pad mount <br /> transformer for the irrigation service at Elk River Golf Course. <br /> • We installed a three phase transformer for the DC Fast Charger that was installed at <br /> Coburn's new gas station. <br /> • Finished changing out two poles and installing new underground secondary's at two <br /> residences on County Road 121; these are two of the poles that didn't pass inspection. <br /> • Working on removing a three phase junction box and installing a single phase fuse pad at <br /> the Tall Pines addition on 183"I Circle. We are also are lowering our underground wires <br /> at the entrances of the development. <br /> • Chris Sumstad attended the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association(MMUA) Firstline <br /> Supervision class November 15-17, 2017 in Plymouth, MN.
