Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order at 8:35 p.m. by Mayor Tralle. <br /> <br />2. Consider 1/13/92 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN <br />AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER <br />5-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1/13/92 CITY COUNCIL <br />DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Police Department Employee/Secretary Receptionist <br /> <br />Tom Zerwas requested authorization to hire Linda Johnson as <br />Secretary/Receptionist for the Police Department effective January 21, <br />1992. The Police Chief stated that because of Ms. Johnson's experience <br />level he is requesting that Linda start at Step 1 of the pay plan and <br />move to Step 2 in six months after probation and to continue moving up <br />one step per year on the probation date anniversary. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO HIRE LINDA JOHNSON AS <br />SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT EFFECTIVE JANUARY 21, <br />1992, WITH THE STARTING PAY AT THE FIRST STEP OF THE PAY PLAN AND AN <br />INCREASE TO THE NEXT STEP IN THE PAY PLAN AFTER COMPLETION OF THE SIX <br />MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4.
