<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />April 1, 1944 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Town Board of Elk River met in regular session with Oscar Engstrom absent. <br /> <br />Present: \[not listed\] <br /> <br />The application of A. Blais for a beer license was approved. <br /> <br />Emil Hoffman appeared before the Board in regard to the petition for a road into his farm. Some <br />discussion followed but the matter was left tabled. <br /> <br />Miss Nelson, of the County Welfare Board, appeared before the Board with a request from Ramsey <br />County that they be reimbursed for help granted to a dependent of Elk River Twp. No action was <br />taken as the amount of help granted was not known. <br /> <br />The following bills were allowed: <br /> <br /> <br />Revenue fund <br /> <br />No. 14 Louis J. Specht $3.00 <br /> <br />No. 15 Kenneth E.
