<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />May 6, 1944 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Board of the Town of Elk River met in regular session with all members present. <br /> <br />Present: \[not listed\] <br /> <br />The matter of reimbursing Ramsey county for relief granted the Sharp family was discussed and the <br />Clerk instructed to get a verified bill from Ramsey county. <br /> <br />Emil Hoffman and Louis Hinz appeared before the Board in regard to the Hoffman road petition. <br />Petition was taken from the table and approved by the Board. Damages due Louis Hinz were agreed <br />upon and set at fifty dollars ($50.00). Emil Hoffman presented check payable to E.G. Palmer, Treas. <br />for the above amount. Clerk was instructed to prepare all the necessary forms. It was agreed to get <br />Vic Corron to build the road if possible and Louis J.
