Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Anderson. <br /> 2. Consider 9/13/17 Agenda <br /> Moved by Commissioner Soltvedt and seconded by Commissioner Kallemeyn to <br /> approve the September 13,2017, Parks and Recreation Commission meeting <br /> agenda. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 3.1 Consider 8/9/17 Regular PRC Minutes <br /> Moved by Commissioner Ahlness and seconded by Commissioner Kallemeyn to <br /> approve the following August 9,2017, Parks and Recreation Commission Minutes. <br /> Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum - None <br /> 5. Action Items <br /> 5.1 Park Dedication — Dancing Crane Acres <br /> Mr. Benoit presented his staff report. <br /> Chair Anderson asked commission members to consider a trail easement since there is not <br /> a side designated for future trails in that area. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Kallemeyn and seconded by Commissioner Sagan to <br /> recommend to City Council to add a 15 foot trail easement in addition to Sherburne <br /> County easement and to accept park dedication for the plat of Dancing Crane <br /> Acres to be paid for one dwelling unit at the rate applicable when subdivision is <br /> released for recording. Motion carried 7-0. <br />
