This designation was given to Elk River in 1997 to serve as the <br /> geographical focal point for energy efficiency and sustainability. The project utilized qualitative and <br /> quantitative data to investigate and recommend methods and programs promoting Elk River as Energy <br /> 00- <br /> The final report was submitted this spring and reviewed by the Energy City Commission at their August <br /> 16, 2017 meeting.
