Please review <br />the attached draft and determine if it meets the intent that was discussed at the December <br />meeting. Attached for reference are those meeting notes. <br /> <br />Discuss Transportation Priorities in Light of Natural Resources Inventory <br />Information <br /> <br />Review Corridor Plan South of 17Sth Avenue <br /> <br />At the December 14,2004 meeting, the Commission identified a number of priority <br />transportation corridors that the City Council should consider. These corridors were <br />identified without regard for natural resource or other issues. The Commission should now <br />look at its priorities in light of real world considerations, specifically, the Natural Resources <br />inventory. <br /> <br />Staff has prepared an Access Plan for the area south of 17 5th Avenue, based on discussions <br />with the City Engineer and the concept review of the townhome proposal on the former <br />I<lein property. Internal connections between the properties will depend on how the <br />properties develop, i.e, what uses are proposed. The Commission should feel free to draw <br />on the attached photo. Land use options could include mixed-use <br />commercial/ office/residential, high density residential (apartments and townhomes) and <br />medium density townhomes. The only physical constraint is the large wetland, highlighted <br />in yellow. <br />
