On October <br /> 25, 1988, President Ronald Reagan designated the month of October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss <br /> Awareness Month. Recognizing October 15 as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day began in <br /> 2002. <br /> Diana Kelley, Founder and Executive Director of Infants Remembered in Silence,Inc. (IRIS),is <br /> requesting the Council recognize October 15, 2017, as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day in the <br /> City of Elk River.
