The Plan was again reviewed and then
recommended at the July 12, 2017, Commission meeting.

The design review included new and future park elements that have occurred since the master plan was
approved two years ago. This includes adjustments to the skate park location as well as the integration of
the new MnDOT-planned trail. The review of conceptual storm water management to integrate into the
plan was also important as staff reviews costs of needed capital improvements such as parking lots and
trails within the parks.

Financial Impact
Staff will review the park features in the Orono plan to develop an overall park capital improvement plan.

Attachments
Original Orono Park Master Plan 2015
Proposed Orono Park Master Plan 2017
