44*-' <br /> Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br /> TO: FROM: <br /> ERMU Commission Michelle Canterbury—Executive Administrative Assistant <br /> MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br /> July 11, 2017 2,4 <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Summary of General Manager Performance Evaluation <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Chair Dietz to provide a summary of the General Manager's performance evaluation <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> On June 13, 2017, the Commission conducted a closed meeting to evaluate the performance of <br /> General Manager Troy Adams. The law requires that at its next open meeting,the Commission <br /> shall summarize its conclusions regarding the evaluation. Chair Dietz provided the following <br /> statement summarizing the Commission's conclusions regarding the evaluation. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> Prior to the meeting, Commissioners, Department Heads and other relevant personnel had rated <br /> Troy Adams in several areas for the performance evaluation via a survey. A summary of the <br /> information submitted, including the General Managers' self-evaluation, was reviewed in detail <br /> at the closed meeting. <br /> Overall, the Commission was very satisfied with the work of General Manager Adams and gave <br /> him an above average overall rating. The Commission agreed to have Adams' wages <br /> benchmarked by the Wage and Benefit Committee and brought up for discussion by the <br /> Commission at a future date. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br /> None <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> 39 <br />
