More retention visits are in the scheduling process, <br />watch for the emails, and please RSVP to let us know if you are able to attend. <br /> <br />Spikes Feed Business Visit <br />Colleen, Bryan Provo, Zach Carlton, Debbi Rydberg, and I attended a business retention and expansion <br />visit at Spikes/JRK Seed. Spikes offers a wide variety of JRK Se <br />JRKs Eagan facility. Their mixes are designed specifically for pikes <br />offers animal feed, full line of turf supplies and a selection o-6 FT at <br />the Elk River facility. They indicated they have a good relationship with the city and have no issues or <br />concerns. They welcome the City of Elk River to utilize their digital display sign if they so choose to <br />advertise community events, to include the concert series, Taste of Elk River, and the farmers market. <br />Ebners Bait Business Visit <br />Mayor Dietz, CM Olsen, Debbie, and I met with Joanne from Ebners Bait. The business began in 1949 <br />by current owner Joanne's grandparents Alfred and Laura Ebner. T <br />business offering both retail and wholesale services until 1967 <br />Ebner and his wife Norma. They conducted business in the same manner as Alfred a <br />next 24 years before passing it down to the third generation of Ebner's. In 1991 Ronald and Norm <br />turned ownership over to daughter Joanne and son Mark. In 2007 Jsole owner of the <br />business.
