Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 8.3 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />General Business June 5, 2017 Amanda Bednar, Environmental Coordinator <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Ordinance Amendment: Energy City Commission Suzanne Fischer, Director COD <br />Reviewed by <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Adopt, by motion, revisions to City Code Chapter 2, Division 8, Energy City Commission. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Energy City Commission has revised the city ordinance to better fit the mission of the group to <br />include language regarding sustainable living practices in addition to energy technology, energy <br />demonstrations, and more. <br /> <br />Additionally, the changes include allowing representatives to include commercial or residential utilities <br />customers or nonprofit organizations.
