<br />rei ---'\) <br />( ); <br />tri< <br /> <br /> <br />Item #5.10. <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor & City Council <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />May 10, 1999 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: East Elk River Update <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Under this agenda topic I would like to update the City Council on the status <br />of right-of-way and easement acquisition for the utility and street project. <br />Included in the update will be a review of the acquisition of the Brown <br />property as it relates to the total acquisition price, the property financed by <br />federal street monies, and the property to be financed over time by way of the <br />development fund. Additionally, the development fund is anticipated to <br />finance the acquisition of the Kirkeide house and property, but, unfortunately, <br />we seem to be a long way away from each other on price, and consequently, <br />this acquisition may not be consummated. In this regard we may have to find <br />a way to complete the sewer project and avoid the Kirkeide property. <br /> <br />The update will also include the acquisition status of the property north of <br />County Road 12, plus which easements have been obtained and which remain <br />to be pursued for the properties along Highway 10, south of County Road 12. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway.
