<br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br />TOWN OF ELK RIVER <br />March 9, 1915 <br /> <br /> <br />Town Board met at Town Clerk’s office at the Courthouse. <br /> <br />Present: W.A. Frye, Chairman; P.H. McNabb and Gust Sund, Supervisors; F.W. Nickerson, <br />Town Clerk. <br /> <br />This being the date of the of the \[sic\] Annual Town Meeting, Fred Sacks on motion was <br />elected Moderator. At 9 o’clock A.M. polls were declared open and business meeting was set for <br />2 o’clock P.M. <br /> <br />Business Meeting <br /> <br />Town Clerk’s report read and approved. County Treasurer’s report read and after some discussion <br />approved. Report of Board of Audit read and approved. <br /> <br />On motion the following sums were levied for the ensuing year: <br /> <br />Road & Bridge \[Fund\] $2000.00 <br />Town Revenue \[Fund\] 300.00 <br />Town Poor Fund 300.00 <br /> Total: $2600.00 <br /> <br />On motion the business meeting was adjourned and the polls declared open. <br /> <br />\[Election Results\] <br /> <br />At 5 o’clock P.M. polls were declared closed and ballots were counted: 17 votes were cast. <br /> <br />P.H. McNabb receiving 17 votes was declared elected Supervisor for 3 years. <br />F.W. Nickerson receiving 17 votes was declared elected Town Clerk for 1 year. <br />E.G. Palmer receiving 17 votes for Treasurer was declared elected for Treasurer for the ensuing <br />year. <br />E.W. Dickey receiving 17 votes for Justice of the Peace was declared elected for the ensuing year. <br />Fred Specht and Gust Moritz receiving 17 votes each were declared elected Constables for the <br />ensuing year. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were allowed: <br /> <br />W.A. Frye One day on board $2.00 <br />Gust Sund One day on board 2.00 <br />P.H. McNabb One day on board 2.00 <br />F.W. Nickerson One day on board 2.00 <br />Fred Sacks Moderator \[fee\] 2.00 <br />P.
