RESOLUTION 97- 23 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF <br />1997 FEDERAL ISTEA GRANT APPLICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city of Elk River pledges fifty percent (50%) of the <br />proposed ISTEA project for the proposed outdoor recreation <br />grant program; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total cost of the project is $98,000; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Elk River will be the sponsoring unit of <br />government for said project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City commits the Street and Park Superintendent as <br />project manager. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city pledges a spirit of <br />cooperation to the proposed ISTEA Project in the amount of $50,000. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 24tl~ day <br />of March, 1997. <br /> <br />//I-tenfA.
