<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 6, 1906 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At a meeting of the Common Council of the Village of Elk River held at Romdeune’s Drug Store, <br />the following were present, viz.: <br /> <br />Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; Justus deBooy, H.B. Nickerson and J.H. Romdeune, Trustees; <br />H.C. Hastings, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of the Council, as Board of Auditors, to examine the <br />records for the current year. The Treasurer having presented his report, the board compared the <br />same with order book and Recorder’s report, cancelling orders at the same time. Everything was <br />found OK and the reports duly approved and filed. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and allowed: <br /> <br />Davis Bros., sundries as per bill, $5.36 <br />John McBride, work on fire engine, $1.00 <br />H.C. Hastings, salary as Recorder, $35.00 <br />Elk River Lumber Co., for brick, $.75 <br /> <br />There being no further business, the board adjourned \[illegible\]. <br /> <br />H.C.
