<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 18, 1905 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At a meeting of the Village Council held at Romdeune’s Drug Store, the following were present: <br /> <br />Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; Justus deBooy, H.B. Nickerson and J.H. Romdeune, Trustees; <br />H.C. Hastings, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The contract with the G.N. Ry. Co. relating to the fire hose box on Culvert which the said Co. had <br />placed under their tracks for the use of the Village, was upon motion accepted, and the Recorder <br />was authorized to sign the said contract for the Village. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were allowed: <br /> <br />Prosper Vassar, work on Ferry Hill, $4.50 <br />Luther G. Davis, repg. sidewalk, $2.00 <br />Heebner Mercantile Co., nails, etc., $1.97 <br />Justus deBooy, \[no detail given\], $1.75 <br />Justus deBooy, repg. walk on Main St., $15.40 <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />H.C.
