Chadbourne, <br />Village Recorder <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 14, 1905 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At a special meeting of the Village Common Council, the following-named members were present: <br /> <br />Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; Justus de Booy and H.B. Nickerson, Trustees.* <br /> <br />Also members of Business Men’s Association of the Village of Elk River were present. <br /> <br />The matter of the bridge across the Mississippi River between the Village of Elk River and Otsego <br />was discussed, and the following resolution was passed at this meeting: <br /> <br />Resolved that A.H. Nickerson, President, be and is hereby appointed a committee to advertise for <br />plans and specifications for the proposed bridge across the Mississippi River between the Village of <br />Elk River and Otsego with authority to procure such assistance as he may deem necessary. <br /> <br />This resolution was unanimously carried by the Common Council and Business Men’s Association <br />of the said Village of Elk River. <br /> <br />\[No note re: adjournment or official sign-off by Recorder\] <br /> <br /> <br />* The Recorder’s name is not given. <br /> <br />
