<br />December 26, 1903: N.D. Trumbull and E.W. Johnson appointed Judges of the coming Village <br />Election, both being qualified voters of said Village. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 6, 1904 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting in Recorder’s office. Meeting called to order at 8:15. <br /> <br />Present: C.Q. Scoborio, Pres.; A.A. Opitz, Trustee; H.B. Nickerson, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The Council formed itself into a board of audit and, together with Mr. Davis, Village Treasurer, <br />audited and checked upon the Treasurer’s report and, finding everything OK, on motion accepted it. <br /> <br />The following bills \[were\] allowed <br /> <br />Geo. Goodwin, testing fire engine, $1.50 <br />Ole Sundby, blacksmithing, $2.45 <br />A. Davis, Treas. salary, $15.00 <br />G.J. Slattery, freight, $1.25 <br />E.L.
