<br />Filed January 2, 1902: Posted notices of annual election: one in post office, on at Babcock’s <br />corner and one at entrance to opera house. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 10, 1903 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting of Council in Scoborio’s office. <br /> <br />Present: C.Q. Scoborio, Pres.; Perry Clute, J.E. McBride and A.A. Opitz, Trustees; <br />H.B. Nickerson, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The following bills \[were\] allowed: <br /> <br />Standard Oil Co., gaso., $7.00 <br />L. Pollard, street work, $2.50 <br />F.P. Brown, care of tramps, $1.25 <br />F.W. Hill, feeding firemen, $4.50 <br />B.N. Thompson, lumber for bridge, $45.17 <br />C.F. Robbins, putting in bridge, $20.00 <br /> <br />On motion the Treas. was allowed $15.00 as salary and Recorder $35.00 for salary (all voting “aye”). <br /> <br />Council resolved itself into a board of audit and proceeded to compare Treas. orders to stumps and <br />cancel them as proved correct. <br /> <br />\[No note re: adjournment.\] <br /> <br />H.B.
