Babcock, Recorder <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 25, 1899 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular meeting of Village Council at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: H.C. Hastings, President; H.D. Mills, Trustee; Chas. M. Babcock, Rec. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed: <br /> <br />Brown Tracy & Co., order drawn to Recorder, $3.30 <br />H.D. Mills, cash paid for cleaning sidewalks, $14.25 <br /> <br />On motion it was voted to appropriate a fund of $25.00 as a special fund to be used as paying <br />incidental expenses, and Recorder authorized to draw orders against same. <br /> <br />Bill as Perry Clute, work on streets, $1.50, <br />\[and\] bill of Eug. Holt, work on streets, $1.50, <br />\[were\] allowed. <br /> <br />On motion it was voted that the Village Council accept the terms of the Town Board to rent an <br />office over Big Store at $35.00 for \[the\] year, and the Village Council pay one half, and Recorder was <br />instructed to notify Store of same. <br /> <br />No further business, adjourned. <br /> <br />Chas.
