Hildreth <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 2, 1894 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council met in Special Session at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: D.R. Houlton, President; J.F. Lewis; A. Davis; F.W. Hildreth; E.E. Bryant, Recorder. <br /> <br /> <br />The minutes of the two previous meetings were read and approved. <br /> <br />On motion the following resolution was adopted: <br /> <br />Resolved, that all persons are warned against removing sand from any of the streets of the village of <br />Elk River, and particularly from Main Street. <br /> <br />The bill of F.W. Hildreth, $1.75, shoveling snow, was in motion allowed. <br /> <br />On motion John Hayward was appointed Poundmaster and Lot 10, 11 & 12 Block 7 of W.H. <br />Houlton’s Addition to Elk River were designated as a pound. <br /> <br />Adjourned. <br /> <br />E.E.
