Staff then presented at the March 6, 2017, City Council meeting where the Council approved <br />proceeding with the benches, flower pots and bike racks as staff presented, as long as the capacity of the <br />new bike racks is at least that of the current racks. <br />The Council also expressed a desire to keep the current bike racks downtown for additional space. <br />Staff will present the approved designs of the benches, flower pots, and bike racks. <br />Financial Impact <br />In 2017, the HRA budgeted $20,000 for the implementation of the Downtown Plan in the Other <br />Professional Services line item.
