During the review of this contact each facility was reassessed. Larger <br />containers were requested at the street department and the liquor store. The <br />Youth Athletic Complex is also in included in this contract, and service at the <br />softball complex has be lengthen to run through October. Along with these <br />increases, sales tax has also risen. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The annual difference between the old contract and the new contract is <br />$14.06 per month or $169.72 annually. The new contract will cost $17,128.44 <br />per year. The city recognized some savings by breaking out tax exempt <br />recycling fees from refuse fees, and by reorganizing refuse containers in <br />Orono Park. <br /> <br />To date, Pretzel's Sanitation has done a good job. Therefore, I recommend <br />that the City renew its contract with Pretzel's Sanitation for an additional <br />two year period.
