Jonas Scholz, an Environmental Engineering student, expressed an <br />interest in studying abroad through the Climate Smart Municipalities Program. <br /> <br />By U.S. Department of State rules, the intern is required to show basic fiscal responsibility before an <br />internship is granted and a Visa processed. <br /> <br />There was a 6-week period between the resignation of the Environmental Technician and the start of the <br />Environmental Coordinator, providing adequate funds to cover his stipend along with contributions from <br />the University of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br /> $6300 from Environmental Services Payroll Budget <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> None <br /> <br />Template Updated 4/14 <br />
