<br />rCI ----'\) <br />( )j <br />tIt{ <br /> <br />Item # 4.2. <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />River TO: <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Stephen Wensman, Planner "S'W <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />February 22, 1999 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Amendment to Council Motion <br />regarding Lafayette Woods Third <br />Addition Final Plat, Case No. P 99-4 <br /> <br />Reauest <br /> <br />Windsor Development, the applicant, requests that the City Council continue <br />discussion of Lafayette Woods Third Addition Final Plat on March 1st rather <br />than on March 15th. <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On February 16, the City Council made a motion to continue discussion on <br />the Final Plat of Lafayette Woods Third Addition until March 15th. The <br />motion that passed read: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO CONTINUE THE REQUEST BY <br />WINDSOR DEVELOPMENT FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL (LAFAYETTE WOODS <br />THIRD ADDITION) P 99-4, TO THE MARCH 15, 1999, CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE DEVELOPER SUBMIT A DETAILED BUFFER <br />PLAN AGREED TO BY THE RIDGEWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND <br />THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />The applicant is scheduled to meet with the Ridgewood Homeowners <br />Association on February 24th, to resolve the outstanding issues. The timing <br />of the Final Plat is important to the applicant so he can acquire bank <br />financing and secure the sale of lots in the development. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br /> <br />That the City Council amend the motion made on February 16th to read: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO CONTINUE THE REQUEST BY <br />WINDSOR DEVELOPMENT FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL (LAFAYETTE WOODS <br />THIRD ADDITION) P 99-4, TO THE MARCH 1, 1999, CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE DEVELOPER SUBMIT A DETAILED BUFFER <br />PLAN AGREED TO BY THE RIDGEWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND <br />THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY.
