The Government <br />Finance Officers national conference offers an opportunity to get updated on <br />local and national finance issues and offers educational sessions on <br />numerous topics. Briefly, those include changes in financial reporting and <br />related requirements, innovations in government finance, cash management <br />and treasury functions, economic development finance, and many others. <br /> <br />Action Reauested <br /> <br />The Council is asked to authorize the Finance Director's attendance at the <br />1999 national conference of the Government Finance Officers Association of <br />the United States and Canada to be held in Nashville, Tennessee, May 23-26. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
