Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br /> was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chair Johnson. <br /> 2. Consider August 23, 2016, Planning Commission Agenda <br /> Moved by Commissioner Larson-Vito and seconded by Commissioner Nicholas to <br /> approve the August 23, 2016, Planning Commission agenda. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 3.I Consider August 23, 2016, Board of Adjustments Minutes <br /> Moved by Commissioner Larson-Vito and seconded by Commissioner Thiel to <br /> approve the August,2016, Board of Adjustments minutes. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 4.1 Shelly Liestman — 1 9776 Gary Street NW <br /> • Conditional Use Permit— Conditional Use Permit for Home Occupation (dog <br /> grooming), Case No. Cu I6-23 <br /> The staff report was presented by BrieAnna Simon. Staff recommended approval of the <br /> Conditional Use Permit with the conditions stated in the staff report. <br /> Chair Johnson opened the public hearing. <br /> Karen Rivers, 13286 198 1/2 Circle NW—asked in there would be animals running loose. <br /> She stated that she had a bad experience in which a child was bitten by a dog. <br /> Ms. Simon stated that Condition#12 requires that customer's dogs shall be leashed or <br /> kenneled when outside. <br /> There being no further public comment, Chair Johnson closed the public hearing. <br />
