Renner <br />& Sons, Inc. with Nate Ovall and Larry Toth. The group met with Ed Renner. EH Renner and Sons has <br />been doing well drilling for five generations. They have been at their current site since 1983 and will be <br />celebrating their 100th Anniversary later this year! <br /> <br />Our next business retention visit is scheduled with Elk River Machine on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Die Concepts, Inc. <br />This project is moving along. See the attached progress photos. <br />Quad County Meeting <br />CMJTS received notice that they were awarded a 50/50 Federal matching grant of $47,005 this past week <br />to complete the regional CEDS plan. <br />MN Manufacturing Week <br />In recognition of MN Manufacturing Week, Colleen, Debbi Rydberg, Nick Zer <br />visited the following manufacturers: Classic Acrylics, Alliance <br />Powder Coating, Sportech, MetalCraft, Fairbault Foods, Orluck Inustries, and Distinctive Iron. The <br />visits were very informal and utilized as a check in to see how <br />Joplin Property Project <br />I have received the signed and filed order from the Honorable Ju <br />interest in the remnant parcels of the Joplin property project. Immediate <br />hearing on September 1, the city filed an order authorizing serv <br />County court. The publication will be noticed in the local paper for three weeks to identify any additional <br />potential heirs of the property who have possible ownership inte <br />personal service. Additionally, the order was approved appointin <br />Timothy Young, James Smerdon and Mel Beaudry to verify the appraised val <br /> <br />
