<br /> <br />Item 6.2. <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />DATE: january 3, 2005 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appointments of Council Liaisons to Advisory Boards/Corjnmissions <br /> <br />At the August 9, 2004 City Council meeting, each Councilmember was appointed to one of the city's <br />advisory boards/ commissions as follows: <br /> <br /> John Louise Dan Paul <br /> Dietz Kuester Tveite Motin <br />Heritage Preservation v'" <br />Commission <br />2nd Thurs., 6:30 p.m. <br />Library Board v'" <br />4th Tues., 6:30 p.m. <br />Parks and Recreation v'" <br />Commission <br />2nd Wed., 6:30 p.m. <br />Planning Commission !v'" <br />2nd Tues., 6:30 p.m. <br />(Workshop) <br /> <br />The motion made included the above liaison terms to expire December 31, 2005; hoiwever, these <br />appointments need to be revisited due to vacancies created by Councilmembers Kuester and Tveite. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br /> <br />Mayor and Council review of the above chart. Council may wish to appoint Councilinembers Farber <br />and Gumphrey as non-voting liaison delegates to the vacancies on the Heritage Preservation <br />Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission or they may wish to reconsider all four <br />appointments. Council should also set term expirations as they see appropriate. <br />
