Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Energy City <br /> Commission was called to order by Sagstetter at 8:39 a.m. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Sagstetter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 3. Consider Agenda <br /> Mroz added 5.7 Great River Energy Pollinator Habitat Planting presentation by Matt <br /> Hermann <br /> Moved by Westgaard and seconded by Chuba to approve the May 18,2016 <br /> Energy City Commission agenda with the addition of 5.7. <br /> 4. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> Moved by Chuba and seconded by Westgaard to approve the consent agenda. <br /> 5.1 Youth Committee <br /> Mroz provided the update on the youth committee interest meeting and requested <br /> Commissioners continue to promote applications. Hanson suggested sending a flyer <br /> to Steve Vrchota with Lego League and Sagstetter suggested having it posted onto <br /> the ERMU website. Hermann requested that the flyer be promoted at the Science <br /> Fair in October. Sagstetter recommended adding a due date and removing the ISD <br /> logo to eliminate confusion. <br /> 5.2 University of St. Thomas Sustainable Communities Partnership <br /> Mroz provided the update on spring semester class projects. In response to the <br /> plastic bag ban project,Mroz suggested touring a Material Recovery Facility. <br />
