Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and thereof, the work session meeting of thetlk River <br /> Parks and Recreation Co mi was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chair <br /> Anderson. <br /> 2. Discuss Park Area for Rive:dark Foil/Miske <br /> Mr. Leeseberg shared staff report : <br /> Paxmar Developer,Don Jensen provided a.new sketched plan. <br /> r he Commis on dis i sed the additional land and configuration, sharing the criteria <br /> .for accepting land"from lie memo on_page 2. <br /> Chairman Andersoastated he continues to have the same opinion of acres, and not <br /> incl ilT g the land under the powerlines in park dedication. <br /> Mr.Jensen"stated that they are now bringing forward an adjacent plat to provide <br /> access to the ocorridor space.He asked the city to dream big and see it as a resource, <br /> asking not for a ,lution that this have value and they are providing the <br /> neighborhood with dog park, school programs,nature settings,walking trails, and <br /> biking trails. He would appreciate the city seeing it as a resource. <br /> Commissioner Niziolek doesn't see its connectivity to the larger part of the <br /> community only to the development itself. <br /> Commissioner Nystrom tried to figure out the connection to other places,not seeing <br /> it, stating that the topography is a challenge. <br />
