Park Maintenance Worker Josh Baas was the successful candidate leaving vacant a Park <br />Maintenance Worker position. We went to market to fill the new vacancy. <br /> <br />We received 51 applications for the Park Maintenance Worker position and offered interviews to the top <br />eight candidates. Following interviews, background and reference checks, and pre-employment testing, <br />staff recommends Todd Neal for the position of Park Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />Mr. Neal has been working for Anoka County Parks as a Park keeper for the past three years. Prior to <br />Anoka County, he was a crew leader for the Minnesota Conservation Corps and a laborer for a home <br />remodeler. <br /> <br />This position is part of the new Local 49 union and that contract is being negotiated. Mr. Neal will start <br />at step A of pay grade 6 in our 2015 Pay Plan.
