Specific concerns include financial impacts from
future assessments and the buildable area of the outlot south of the billboard parcel. The applicant stated
that they had not seen the right-of-way request until the Wednesday prior to the meeting (June 15, 2016),
and requested additional time to review the request. The City Council closed the public hearing and
continued the discussion to July 18, 2016, per the applicant’s request. The
changes include moving the billboard to a new location on the property, which requires additional review
by the Planning Commission.
