We <br /> received 5 proposals which ranged in price from $196,200 to $390,717. <br /> Staff interviewed Hakanson Anderson,Inc. on June 23, 2016. Hakanson Anderson emphasized that they <br /> were comfortable in their ability to deliver a successful project for the city at the price they proposed. <br /> Based on the interview feedback, our review of their proposal, and past positive working history with <br /> their firm, staff is recommending award of the work to Hakanson Anderson,Inc. in the amount of <br /> $196,200. Upon the approval by the City Council, staff will work with the firm to finalize a contract and <br /> begin work immediately. <br /> The proposals received, further detail work associated with another request we made in the same RFP for <br /> similar professional services associated with the CSAR 1 Improvement project between TH 10 and the <br /> BNSF railroad should this move forward as a joint project between Sherburne County and the City of <br /> Elk River. Staff will be preparing this item for consideration at the upcoming joint County Board and <br /> City Council meeting. No action is being requested on this project or services associated with it at this <br /> time. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The total financial impact for engineering services associated with this project will be $196,200 and be <br /> paid through the 2017 Street Improvement project budget. <br /> Attachments <br /> ■ Hakanson Anderson,Inc.
