This has allowed for recreational spring <br /> programs and Youth Athletic Association to begin using athletic field facilities on time this <br /> season. <br /> April Programs <br /> • Spring Flag Football <br /> • Adult Softball <br /> • Open Gym <br /> • Parent and Tot Open Playtime <br /> • Eager Elks Soccer <br /> • Eager Elks All Sorts of Sports <br /> Skate Park <br /> Spohn Ranch is currently developing the design for a new skatepark at Orono Park utilizing <br /> feedback received from the public at both the initial community meeting as well as the <br /> Facebook page created specifically for the project. This design will then be presented at a <br /> second community engagement meeting which will be held the last week of May at the Elk <br /> River High School. <br /> Free Little Library <br /> In 2015 three Free Little Libraries were installed in Elk River Parks including Lion John <br /> Weicht Park,Mississippi Oaks Park by Spectrum School,and Trott Brook Barn Park by a <br /> Girl Scout Troop. Free Little Libraries are a"take a book,return a book"gathering place <br /> where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories.
