Meeting of the Elk River Board of Appeal and Equalization <br />Held at Elk River City Hall <br />Monday, Apr20 <br />il 1 1, 16 <br />Members present: Mayor Dietz, ("'ounclImembers Burandt, Wagner, and Olsen (6:04 <br />P.M.) <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Westgaard <br />Staff Present: City Clerk'f'i .ia Allard and ExecutiNTCSecretary/Deputy City Clerk <br />Jessica Miller <br />Also Present: Assistant County Adn-iinistrator/Comi-nercial,A,ssessor Dan Weber, <br />CountyTAssessor Greg Olson, Residential Appraiser Cindy Bowman, <br />Residential Appraiser Beth Boysen, Agricultural Specialist K-risti <br />Botzek, Coinmercial/Industrial Appraiser William Riley, and <br />.Appraiser Shelly Maloney <br />I A Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Board of <br />Appeal and Equalization was called to order at 6:00 p,m. by Mayor Dietz, <br />Greg Olson, Sherburne County Assessor, indicated the purpose of the Board of <br />Appeal and F,,qualization is to consider and review 2016 estimated n-,iarket values and <br />property classifications for taxes payablein 2017. <br />Information was presented on the assessment procedures and statistics for the City, <br />of Elk River 2016 assessments, <br />No one was present to appeal to the Board of Appeal and l"clualization. Mr. Olson <br />reviewed the following assessor recommendations: <br />1. 2015-3 1112 Borrower L.P. Parcel Identification Number 75-694-1206 <br />Mr. ( - )lson distributed a handout on the above parcel. <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen <br />to adjust the value of parcel 75-694-1206 from $229,500 to $216,000 as <br />recommended by the county assessor. Motion carried 4-0. <br />2. 2015-3 1142 Borrower L.P., Parcel Identification Number 75-474-0140 <br />Mr. Olson distributed a handout on the above parcel. <br />
