EDA Commissioners voted to meet in special <br /> session on July 26th to discuss the goals and uses of such a <br /> video. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Mr. Dan Barth, of Diversified Marketing, submitted a cover <br /> letter and a brief outline regarding the potential uses for a <br /> video presentation. At the EDA' s July 12th meeting, a specific <br /> proposal was distributed to Commissioners . A copy of this <br /> proposal is enclosed in the agenda packet for the EDA <br /> Commissioners not in attendance on July 12th. Other <br /> Commissioners are asked to bring their proposal to the meeting <br /> on July 26th. <br /> As you can see from the Diversified outline, there is a wide <br /> variety of uses for a video presentation. The uses can be <br /> grouped in the following broad categories : <br /> - Recruitment <br /> - Initial Overview <br /> - Supplemental Information <br /> - General Marketing <br /> To supplement the EDA' s discussion, I will have numerous City <br /> video presentations that can be described as the "best of" <br /> videos available for previewing or for distribution. It will <br /> be easy to see how most of the videos achieve the desired <br /> results of the categories referenced above. <br /> • <br /> P.O.
