Protecting land that is ecologically linked to the Mississippi River <br />is one of the strategies the FMR uses to pursue its mission of enhancing the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />The FMR has become a critical partnership to restore and manage the William H. Houlton Conservation <br />Area. They have not only led in the development of the Natural Resource Management Plan for the <br />property, but they are providing the expertise and funding to make the Plan a reality.
