COMMISSIONER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 6.d. Official Depositories COMMISSIONER SCHEEL MOVED TO DESIGNATE THE FOLLOWING BANKS AS THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR THE EDA FUNDS IN 1995: THE BANK OF ELK RIVER FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF ELK RIVER METROPOLITAN FEDERAL BANK(ELK RIVER) NORWEST BANK FIRST BANKS MARQUETTE BANK COMMISSIONER DWYER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7- V. O. .. Consider Committee Appointments/Assignments The Executive Director provided the EDA with a roster of the existing Committees which include the Finance Committee; Marketing Committee; and R&D Committee. Bill Rubin indicated that past practice 1 II has been to reappoint the same persons on these Committees assuming that the members desire to remain and serve in an as-needed basis. Commissioner Scheel suggested that it may be advisable to seek new members to these Committees as there are new people in the community who would have much to offer. COMMISSIONER DWYER MOVED TO APPOINT THE EXISTING MEMBERS TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, MARKETING COMMITTEE AND R&D COMMITTEE FOR 1995. COMMISSIONER DUITSMAN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. Commissioner Dwyer suggested that the City advertise for members for these committees prior to 1996. 6.f. Bylaw and Enabling Resolution It was the consensus of the EDA that no changes be made to the EDA Bylaws or the Enabling Resolution. 7. Addendum to Tescom TIF Agreement The Executive Director stated that the Commissioners had previously authorized the preparation of an addendum to the Contract for Private Agreement by and between the EDA and Tescom Corporation. Bill Rubin provided the addendum to IIthe Contract for Private Development for EDA consideration.
