SolarAttic Press Release Page 1 of 1
Marc Nevinski
iFrom: Ed Palmer[ceo@solarattic.com]
Sent: Saturday, June 03, 2000 1:51 PM O
To: PR Distribution
Subject: SolarAttic Press Release
For Immediate Release:
Contact: Jim Stanley (763)441-3440
Small Investors Take SolarAttic Public
Elk River, MN. (June 5, 2000) -- SolarAttic, Inc. announced today that individual investors have
pushed the company over its minimum escrow requirements of$150,000.00, technically making
SolarAttic a publicly owned company. The company has accomplished this via selling its stock
direct to individual investors without the benefit of an underwriter. The company is offering 30.1%
ownership to the public in the form of 4,800,000 shares of common stock valued at $1.00 per share.
The offering is available to the general public in Minnesota and New York, or accredited investors in
some other states. The average investment in SolarAttic's IPO to date has been approximately
$1,600. The company will continue its offering until August 15, 2000 or until all available shares are
• sold.
SolarAttic's founder, Ed Palmer said: "Raising public capital for a small technology company is a
very difficult task without using an underwriter. We're grateful to the many individual investors who
understand the impending shortages in the country's electrical generating capacity and the resulting
value of SolarAttic's new energy technology. Our story demonstrates the power of the small investor
to take charge of their investments and to make a difference by investing directly into small company
offerings without the use of traditional brokerage firms. The internet is also playing an important
role in disseminating information on companies like SolarAttic, thus making it easier to get together
with the average individual investor."
SolarAttic has patented technology that recovers solar heat inside of attics. Attic heat now can be
used to heat homes, provide domestic hot water and for heating swimming pools. People will never
view their attic the same again<when they realize that their attic can substantially reduce their utility
bills. More information can be obtained by contacting Jim Stanley at (763) 441-3440 or by visiting
SolarAttic's web site at http://www.solarattic.com.
###
1110
6/5/00
