Per the Police Department job description, interview process, and <br />qualifications for the position, Joseph Gacke is exceptionally qualified for the position. <br /> <br />Joseph Gacke is a 14-year veteran of the Elk River Police Department. He was hired as a police officer <br />on July 9, 2001, and was promoted to detective on June 1, 2006. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br /> <br />The position is currently budgeted and due to the retirement of Sergeant Vita there will be no financial <br />impact to the city.
