All applicants have been notified of the interviews and told the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. These <br />positions have been advertised since December through various marketing tools. Positions not filled will <br />continue to be advertised. <br /> <br />Appointments to the Energy City, Heritage Preservation, Parks and Recreation, Planning, and Utilities <br />Commission are made by the City Council. <br /> <br />All positions listed are three-year terms beginning March 1, 2016, and expiring February 28, 2019. <br /> <br />Residency Requirements <br />Planning Commission, Heritage Preservation Commission, and Utilities Commission applicants must <br />reside within Elk River. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Commission and Ice Arena Commission applicants do not need to reside in Elk <br />River; however, ordinance and the Advisory Board and Commission policy state “it is expected that <br />preference be given to city residents, but residency by itself shall not be a disqualification.” <br /> <br />Residency is not a requirement for the Energy City Commission. <br /> <br />Applicants <br />Below is a list of commission applicants: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
