Product Offering Strategy <br /> Industrial Land Issue <br /> Staff and Ehlers &Associates have received responses from the landowners of Elk River <br /> Business Park and Elk Path Business Center regarding terms of a master development <br /> • agreement. They have indicated interest in participating in a master development agreement <br /> with the EDA for the development of their industrial/business park property. Staff is <br /> forwarding the revised Contract for Initial Sale and Development for the landowners' <br /> consideration. <br /> I I. Competitive Strategy <br /> This past April, Cameron Macht, MN Dept. of Employment & Economic Development <br /> (DEED) Labor Market Analyst, provided the EDA with a custom labor market analysis <br /> comparing Elk River to its neighboring communities. At that time, the EDA requested <br /> future labor market updates. Attached is the most recent Labor Market Profile for Region <br /> 7W, which consists of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties in the Central MN <br /> Planning Region. <br /> III. Key Account/Lead Generation Strategy <br /> Staff has forwarded a proposal for Elk Path Business Center to an inquiry for up to 10 <br /> acres/150,000 SF for a new manufacturing facility. <br /> Staff continues to monitor articles/issues important to manufacturers, such as the attached <br /> article on page six of MN Technology's newsletter regarding tips for companies considering <br /> relocation. <br /> IV. Promotions & Advertising Strategy <br /> There is no new information to report. <br />
