Elk River
Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING
TO: FROM:
Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission Tom Sagstetter- Conservation and Key Accounts
John Dietz—Chair Manager
Al Nadeau—Vice Chair
Daryl Thompson—Trustee
MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER:
January 12th, 2016 6.1f
SUBJECT:
Staff Update
DISCUSSION:
• The LED holiday lighting contest was a huge success. There were 28 participants this
year. The involvement with Community Education was a great addition and they are
already looking forward to next year.
• Rebate volume was incredibly large in the fourth quarter. At this point it appears that
ERMU has achieved the 1.5% savings goal. Once Great River Energy(GRE) finalizes
the energy savings and rebates staff will be able to provide final results for 2015.
• Met with a larger commercial customer to discuss energy use in their building. Worked
with field services to put monitoring devices in place to allow the customer to make more
informed decisions on how they operate their production process.
• Continuing to work with a large industrial customer to provide engineering and pricing
information for a redundant feed to their current facility. Met with ERMU Field Services
and the customers engineering firm to discuss route options, costs, and probability.
P / MEIEI IT
Page 1 of 1 NATURE
Rebabk P jbk P n,N r P,s u To S c a r
Power Pmader
109
