I was not able to attend because I was at the <br /> Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association(MMUA)board meeting and Technical & <br /> Operations Conference in St. Cloud. The MMPA meeting was attended by our alternate, <br /> Al Nadeau. <br /> At the meeting, the Board approved a 2016 rate increase of 0.9%over the 2015 budget. <br /> The Board also approved MMPA's budget for 2016. <br /> The Board also discussed the Shakopee distributed generation project and the Buffalo <br /> solar project. <br /> The Board elected the following officers for 2016: Steve Schmidt—Chairman, Matt <br /> Podhradsky—Vice Chairman, Liza Donabauer—Secretary, John Crooks—Treasurer. <br /> • Interviews for the GIS/Mapping Technician were conducted on December 7 and 9. <br /> Angela Hauge, an internal candidate,has accepted the position. The vacated Water <br /> Operator position has been posted. <br /> • One of the many positive results of the electric service territory transfer agreement <br /> negotiations with Connexus Energy last year was we have agreed to hold an annual <br /> operational and territory transfer meeting. The meeting will be conducted every January <br /> with key personnel from ERMU and Connexus to review and plan for territory issues as <br /> well as be an open forum to discuss other operation items. Our first of these meeting is <br /> scheduled for January 12.
